Ultramel Custard Scones Recipe:
Ingredients:
- 21/2 cups self-raising flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 cup Ultramel custard
- 1/2 cup melted marg
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 egg, beaten
- Pinch of salt
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment.
2. In a bowl, whisk together flour and sugar.
3. Add Ultramel custard, milk, marg and Mix until a dough forms.
4. Turn dough onto a floured surface, gently knead, and pat into a circle (about 1-inch thick).
5. Cut using a scone cutter.
6. Place scones on prepared baking sheet and brush tops with an beaten egg.
7. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
