- 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 large onions, thinly sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/2 cup grated Gruyère cheese
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- Salt and pepper, to taste
*Instructions:*
1. Caramelize onions with a pinch of salt until deep brown; cool.
2. Mix beef, breadcrumbs, milk, garlic, egg, cheese, thyme, salt, and pepper.
