Bang Bang Salmon
Ingredients:
1–2 tbsp olive oil
Bang Bang Sauce
1/3 cup mayonnaise
4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
Salt and black pepper, to taste
2–3 tbsp sweet chili sauce
1 tsp sriracha (adjust to spice preference)
1 tsp honey or maple syrup (optional, for extra sweetness)
1/2 tsp garlic powder
Garnish
Chopped green onions
Sesame seeds
Lime wedges (optional)
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) or heat a skillet over medium-high heat.
Pat salmon fillets dry and season with salt and black pepper.
If baking: place salmon on a parchment-lined baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil. Bake for 12–15 minutes, until cooked through.
If pan-searing: heat olive oil in a skillet and cook salmon 4–5 minutes per side until golden and cooked to your preference.
In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, honey, and garlic powder to make the bang bang sauce.
Drizzle the sauce generously over the cooked salmon or brush it on for a sticky coating.
Garnish with chopped green onions, sesame seeds, and a squeeze of lime if desired.
Serve immediately with rice, noodles, or roasted vegetables.
